Black Flash (
Description[]
Black Flash is a distortion in space that occurs when cursed energy is applied within 0.000001 seconds of a physical hit. When a sorcerer is able to achieve this, their cursed energy flashes black, and the destructive power of their strike is equal to a normal hit to the power of 2.5.
Unleashing Black Flash requires incredible concentration, and no jujutsu sorcerer is capable of using it at will, not even Satoru Gojo. It does not occur randomly and requires immense skill and combat potential to pull off. While Yuji Itadori is thought to be blessed by the sparks of black due to his potential, the same goes for Mahito because the sparks do not choose who to bless.
According to Aoi Todo, the difference of the ability to understand the essence of cursed energy among those who have used and those who have never used the Black Flash, is the difference between heaven and earth. Kento Nanami, the former record holder for most consecutive uses of Black Flash, explains that using it consecutively is nothing impressive. Regardless of how the user achieved it the first time, whether through skill or simple luck, they enter a state where manipulating their cursed energy becomes something as simple and natural as breathing. It can result in a feeling of omnipotence, as if everything revolves around them. This leads to a greatly increased performance in combat, allowing the user to operate at 120% of their maximum potential.

Sonoka Narukami[]
Sonoka Narukami's first documented use of Black Flash was when she exorcised a special-grade cursed spirit that was terrorizing the coasts of Hokkaido through the Ishikari River at the age of eleven, making her among the youngest users of the technique. It was this techinque that granted Sonoka the revelation needed to awaken her Domain Expansion...
Nozomi Bugendai[]
Nozomi Bugendai first used Black Flash against the unregistered special grade cursed spirit Makaze, delivering it directly after his Falling Blossom Emotion came undone. He then used it two more times against the cursed spirit, allowing Saki Rindo to deliver the finishing blow.
Shortly afterwards, Nozomi would use this technique again, this time against Mahito, in order to deliver a critical blow to the curse.
Saki Rindo[]
Saki Rindo's first use of Black Flash was against Makaze, a special grade cursed spirit, while trapped inside its domain. She used it twice in the battle, severely damaging it the first time and finally exorcising it the second use.
